Sensory Overload? Yet another meltdown? How is life even possible when everything is so overwhelming? I understand. I see you. Kids on the autism spectrum find it difficult to cope with all the sensory input our world seems to throw at them at every turn. Learning how these kids process this input that overwhelms them will be a valuable tool to help them learn to self -regulate and keep from becoming so overloaded.
My prayer for this book is that as you read, you will begin to see your child’s world in a different way. I hope that as you identify the things that are difficult for your child, you can make the necessary adjustments and hopefully help your child to have fewer meltdowns. I pray you will learn everything you can about your child and lean into the Lord for your help.
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1
